Bryon Kroger: Prodacity & Outcomes in Prod - Shipping Software in the Age of AI

Bryon Kroger opens Prodacity 2026 with what the software factory era got wrong and how AI changes how teams define, build, and ship outcomes to production.

Suzette Kent, Former Federal CIO of the United States: Delivering in Government - The 2026 Reality

Suzette Kent, fourth Federal CIO of the United States, with Kristin Pearson on delivering mission outcomes as a team sport: policy, people, and speed.

Peter Dixon: Bureaucratic Profiles in Courage

Peter Dixon, Marine veteran and Second Front founder, on what Ukraine's front lines demand of defense software and why this room is the cavalry.

Kent Beck: Software Engineering in the Age of AI

Kent Beck on programming with AI: why generated code demands adversarial trust, how features burn futures, and how to keep iterating toward value.

AI Leadership Panel with Accenture, Anthropic, Google, and Flamelit

Courtney Barno of Anthropic hosts Tom Roderick, Bharat Patel, and Jazmin Furtado on taking AI in government from access to adoption to mission value.

Mina Hsiang, Former USDS Administrator: Not Just Tech: Outcome Delivery from All Angles

Mina Hsiang, former USDS Administrator, with Becki Hyde on healthcare.gov, IRS Direct File, and delivering when the letter of the law fights its spirit.

Patti Fletcher: What If We Get This Right?

Patti Fletcher on leading inside systems built for another era: recollect, reflect, rethink, refine, and why ready is a decision you make.

Dan Ward: Lessons from the Past & the Futures

Dan Ward on what 400 years of failed flying machines teach GovTech about the future: study failure, build scenarios, collect signals, keep in touch.

Bryon Kroger: Introducing the Outcome Factory

Bryon Kroger introduces the Outcome Factory: why 87% of large government IT projects fail on outcomes and how AI compresses delivery toward real time.

Steven Pereira: Mapping Flow to Reveal, Navigate, and Overcome Constraints

Steven Pereira on flow engineering: simple value stream maps that find the real constraint across teams and turn it into a roadmap, with no stale artifact.

Paul Rayner: Designing Around the Domain

Paul Rayner on EventStorming: mapping a process with the people who know it, surfacing hotspots, and reaching shared clarity in a day rather than weeks.

Mapping the Mission Panel with Steven Pereira, Paul Rayner, and Rob Monroe

Rob Monroe hosts Steven Pereira and Paul Rayner on what happens after the workshop: finding constraints, testing assumptions, mapping work to mission.

Palantir: Deterministic by Design

Palantir engineers on building agentic AI workflows for the IRS that hold up in production: deterministic rules, semantic data, evals, and human review.

Russ Miles: The Living Harness: Stop AI-Assisted Code from Drifting in Production

Russ Miles on the Living Harness: what leaders must know about agents that forget, and how to build the habitat that keeps AI code from drifting.

Nicky Pike: AI Augmented Software Development in Government

Nicky Pike of Coder and Mike Gehard of Rise8 field questions on AI-augmented development: new bottlenecks, spec-driven work, and what to try Monday.

Jonathan Mostowski: When Compliance Replaces the Mission

Jonathan Mostowski on why compliance eats mission: labor-hour contracts buy best effort rather than outcomes, and how to bring contracting officers along.

Bryan Guinn: Leveraging SBIR Phase III for Faster Acquisition

Bryan Guinn on SBIR Phase III: why proven tech stalls at "how do we buy it," and how Phase III authority moves it to production without a new competition.

Buying Mission Outcomes Panel

Max Reele hosts Ryan Connell (CDAO), Dolores Kuchina-Musina (REXOTA), and Lori Ann Rissler (LASR Ops) on how acquisition pros actually buy outcomes.

Chris Hughes: Speed of Relevance, Scale at Risk

Chris Hughes on AI's dual-use imperative: exploits now cost a dollar and 15 minutes, and security has to move at the speed of the software it protects.

Transforming GRC into Mission Engineering Panel

Lloyd Evans of Rise8 hosts Charles Nwatu and Mario Lunato on compliance as an engineering discipline: automated controls, machine-verifiable evidence, AI.

Bryon Kroger: Prodacity Closing - Make Ship Happen

Bryon Kroger closes Prodacity 2026 on courage, the virtue behind the other three, and the audacity to keep shipping software users love into production.
