  • Travel help if you need it. A $2,000 stipend is available, reimbursed after the lab.
  • Stay for Prodacity, on us. Complete the lab and your Prodacity registration is free (August 25–27, Nashville).

Who it's for

Impact Lab is for Veterans who want to build, not just buy and manage software.

  • Anyone who has left service and wants a real path into GovTech, without going back for a Computer Science degree.
  • Operators, analysts, logisticians, and PMs with deep mission context who've never written code.

What you'll do

  • Build real software using AI-native tools. You don't need to be a developer. You need an aptitude for tech and a hunger to improve. We start you wherever you are.
  • Work on a real problem. Every Impact Lab is built around an actual challenge with real stakes, not a hypothetical.
  • Ship a working app in two days. You'll leave with software you built and shipped to a real environment. But the app is the artifact. The point is what changes in you: you walk out knowing you can build.
  • We bring everything. Tools, tokens, APIs, environments, curriculum, and instructors in the room both days to unblock and coach. You just show up.

It doesn't end when the lab does

Prodacity, Rise8's GovTech training event, kicks off in the same city the very next day, and every Veteran who completes Impact Lab gets in free. You'll also get a direct referral route into GovTech roles through the US Tech Force. You won't just leave knowing you can build. You'll leave with a foot in the door.
